TRIPS

 

Sign-ups are underway for both Ski & Race Camp at Steamboat (December) and Whitefish, Montana (January).  Check Crescent's web site for details or contact Lisa Beregi, CSC Trips Chair, at drlab88@aol.com.  CSC will be dropping lodging soon so don't delay.  During the Trips Committee meeting at the Fall Conference, clubs will vote to determine the destinations for 2011;  make sure you have representation at the meeting.

 

CONVENTIONS

 

Fall Conference is scheduled for October 23 - 25, 2009, in Gatlinburg, TN.  The deadline for hotel registrations is October 2nd.  After that, there is no guarantee of room availability.  Deadline for meeting and party registration is October 9th.  Revised conference information is contained in www.crescentskicouncil.org, under Conventions. 

 

MEMBER SERVICES
 
Preparation of the Crescent Directory is underway.  Be sure to provide Ken Lumsden and Bruce McMurray, Database Administrator, with your club's current information.  Last year, major changes had to be made immediately after the directory was issued because some clubs failed to keep Bruce, snowdawgasoc@bellsouth.net, updated.
 
 
Since the Fall Conference will be in late October and all clubs should be represented at the meetings, I don't plan to issue a President's Update for October.  Enjoy October's beauty and have a safe trip to the conference.  I'll see you there!
